If our web shop does not recognize your VAT number, there is a simple fix.
The VAT number has to be validated against the invoice address in your customer account. Which invoice address the shop expects you to enter and tries to validate against, you can look up here:
https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies
As soon as your address matches the expected address as seen in the link above, the shop will, as well, show all required parameters as correct in step 2 of the checkout process.
