ALFEN Firmware-Update 5.8

We would like to announce firmware release 5.8  for our NG9xx charging platform.

*Note*

The previous external release was 5.6. Release 5.7 was not released to customers.

Attached you will find the release notes, backoffice configuration key list, error code list and the firmware upgrade file of the version 5.8 to update your charging stations.

The implementation of this major release can impact operational processes and requires management of passwords. Please carefully read the release notes for a more detailed description.

It is required to use the latest version of the service installer and MyEve app. This firmware release is accompanied by a new release of our Service Installer Application. Upgrade to the latest version if it has not been installed yet. It is available on www.alfen.com/downloads and navigate to section ‘EV Charge Points’. 

No changes have been made to the error code list, therefore this release includes the 4.12 version of the error code list.

The firmware will be installed on charging stations produced calendar week 31 2022 onwards.
